COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - We're waking up to foggy skies and mild temperatures. For today, Saturday, and Sunday, the forecast will be about the same though - more clouds than sun at times through the day with highs in the mid to upper 80s and some spots near 90.
Look for isolated showers and thunderstorms in the forecast each day, but the coverage of rain will mean most will stay dry. By early next week, we'll look for another round of rain and storms on Monday which may carry a severe weather risk.
We will deal with a couple of dry days Tuesday and most of Wednesday. But then by the end of the week another system will roll through where we will see another risk of strong to severe storms.
We'll keep an eye on things for you! Stay tuned to the weekend forecast as the storms will begin early Monday morning.
