Opelika police search for three counterfeit check and theft suspects

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

Opelika police received a complaint April 23 of three women suspected of criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft of property. The incident occurred at an Opelika Walmart at 2900 Pepperell Pkwy. 

The suspects reportedly used counterfeit checks to purchase gift cards and used the gift cards to make purchases at other businesses in Opelika. 

Opelika police are in search of the suspects that are described as black females between the ages of 25-35 years old.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a green hat, a brown jacket, and a white t-shirt. The second suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, a purple and gray jacket, white pajama-style pants with writing on them, and brown boots. Suspect three wore a black tank top with “Shot Caller” written on the front.

    Saturday, Aug. 18 at approximately 3:45 a.m. Auburn Police responded to the 800 block of N. Donahue Dr. in reference to a shooting.  Upon arrival officers located three individuals that had been injured in an apartment.  One female was suffering from a minor injury, a male suffered a life-threatening injury, another male was dead at the time of arrival.  All injuries were a result of the shooting.
