Man arrested for breaking into Eufaula convenience store

EUFAULA, AL (WTVM) – The Eufaula Police Department has arrested a man in connection to a theft and burglary of a Eufaula convenience store.

On Tuesday morning, Eufaula police officers were involved in a foot chase and investigation of an unrelated incident when an audible alarm was heard south of their location.

Officers responded to the alarm and found that forced entry had been made to a side door of a convenience store on Eufaula Avenue. 

As a result of the on-scene investigation, 41-year-old Rheem Robinson, of Eufaula, was located a short distance from the store and was arrested. 

Robinson was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree theft of property. Robinson is being held at the Eufaula City Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
