COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Book another Columbus State tennis team to the National Finals in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

After the men's team clinched Sunday, the women did the same Tuesday, beating Francis Marion 5-1 to clinch their spot among the final 16 teams in the country.

They started by taking two of three doubles matches, as the number two's Camila Tobar and Kirsa Utech won along with the number three team of Giorgia Vitale and Rachael Williams.

The number one doubles of Beatriz Leon and Beatriz Lopez fell 9-8.

CSU took care of things in singles competition, as Tobar, Leon and Olivera Tadijin all took their matches in straight sets to give Columbus State the five match victories necessary to clinch the win.

They'll face Mercyhurst in the next round on Wednesday, May 10 at 8 a.m.
