COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Dr. Linda Jill Moore with St Francis Columbus Clinic is changing to a concierge model of practice.

Concierge medicine or membership-based medicine focuses on the patient, not the clock. In this type of practice, a patient pays an annual fee which ensures more facetime with the doctor, 24/7 access directly to the physician via phone or text, a personalized healthcare plan, and support.

Dr. Moore explained why this model is so beneficial for patients.

“We found a way through the concierge practice that by seeing only eight to ten patients a day there is plenty of time to take care of the paperwork and to contact your specialist and keeping up with everything that is going on with them,” said Dr. Linda Jill Moore, Columbus Clinic.

Dr. Moore is the second concierge physician in the area, along with Dr. Ronald Hudson.

The Saint Francis Columbus Clinic will be hosting a workshop this week to explain the concierge model.

The workshop will take place Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the first-floor waiting room at the St. Francis Columbus Clinic, located at 610 19th Street.
