AUBURN, AL (WTVM) – A manhunt has ended after Auburn police have arrested a man wanted for robbery.
Auburn City Schools posted a Tweet stating that the suspect, Jamal Hutchinson, has been detained and that the schools were in a 'state of heightened awareness' during this incident.
According to Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones, deputies were trying to locate Hutchinson in connection with a robbery that happened a few weeks ago.
Jones says the suspect, Jamal Hutchinson, jumped out of a window naked and ran into a wooded area near Lundsford Dr.
He has been charged with robbery in the first degree with a bond of $100,000, assault in the second-degree with a bond of $25,000 and attempting to elude with a $3,000 bond.
