Storm Team 9: You could see a raindrop today. The chance is LOW though!

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Today the rain chance goes up but it's going to stay low. A 10% chance at best should keep most of us dry. Temperatures should warm into the low 90s this afternoon once again. This won't change until Sunday. Another low chance of rain moves in Thursday.

The next system that we're tracking to bring a high rain chance will move in Saturday night into Sunday, increasing our rain coverage to 20% on Saturday and 60% by Sunday.  Needless to say, if you have outdoor plans this weekend, Sunday definitely looks like the wetter of the two days.

The rain may stick around through Thursday with lower chances of rain for Tuesday - Thursday. Temperatures will drop as we increase the rain coverage and clouds around here - with 80s in the forecast for Sunday and next week.

Be sure to check us out on the TV side of things today at Noon ET and beginning at 5 PM ET for more on the forecast. You can also stream us LIVE on the weather app and follow Storm Team 9 on Facebook and Twitter.
