Man arrested for calling in false bomb threat at Stars and Strikes

COLUMBUS GA -

One man has been arrested after calling in a false bomb threat at a popular Columbus business Saturday evening.

Columbus police have arrested 24-year-old Brian Reed in connection with calling in a bomb threat at Stars & Strikes at 7607 Veterans Pkwy.

Reed is charged with making terroristic threats and is still in the Muscogee County Jail.

The Muscogee County Sheriff's Office said they received the call at 7:34 p.m. Saturday.

Police said they evacuated the building and searched it, but there was no bomb or threat found by a bomb technician.
