Most Wanted: January 2017 Bull Creek Apartments murder

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police are still looking for a killer who left a teen dead back in January.

Destiny Nelson, 17, was shot as she opened the door to her apartment at 11B at the Bull Creek Apartments on Creek Way, off Woodruff Farm Road.

According to police, Nelson’s murder was in retaliation for the killing of 22-year-old Dominique Horton on Jan. 5 in the 3000 block of 32nd Avenue in south Columbus.

Police are asking for anyone that has any information about this murder to please contact Detective Alan Malone at 706-653-3400.
