COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A local Chick-fil-A restaurant goes above and beyond to honor soldiers and veterans who are no longer with us.

As a tribute to soldiers who went to battle and didn't return, the restaurant on Wynnton Road set up a table containing a place setting with a folded American flag, a Bible, and a framed "Missing Man" letter.

Local Franchise Owner Alex Vann says with Fort Benning being here it’s important that they honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice which gives this country its freedom.

Vann also says he is a part of a military family, his father a 30-year Army veteran, three of his brothers serving and one currently active.
