COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A Columbus group introduced a unique way for the community to bond through art.

"Columbus GA Rocks" encourages citizens to paint rocks and hide them throughout the community for others to find. A Columbus local recently came across a painted rock near a gas pump.

Attached to each hidden rock is a note that reads, “Keep it or rehide it.” If you paint rocks, you’re asked to put “Columbus GA Rocks” near the bottom of the rocks. After a rock is found, you are to post a picture of it in their Facebook group

Columbus GA Rocks is geared towards anyone who wants to join in on community bonding and unity. Rock painting parties and finding rocks together is also encouraged to bring the city together.
