Donate blood to help victims of Hurricane Irma


The potential impact of Hurricane Irma could be severe, and LifeSouth is asking you to donate now to help Florida prepare for the effect of the storm on the state’s blood supply.

It is important to build the blood supplies at hospitals before Hurricane Irma comes ashore. It is likely blood collections with cease in Florida during the storm and in the aftermath. All blood types are needed, including platelet and plasma donors.
Donating in advance not only supplies the hospitals, it assures that blood will be available to help those injured during to the storm.
