Hurricane warnings and last minute supplies

With a hurricane warning now issued, more people are making sure they have last minute supplies.

Charlotte Morris beat the rush.

She went shopping Friday morning at the Greer's Cash Saver in Robertsdale with Nate in mind.

Morris said, "I'm getting some deviled ham and some roast beef spread and some crackers and stuff like that."

When asked if she was worried about the storm, Morris said, "A little bit.  Not as much as some of the last couple of ones that we've had, like Freddie and Ivan."

Bill Morgan was stocking up on snacks, too.

Morgan said, "I'm pretty well prepared.  I'm picking up a few little things, canned fruits and cookies".

Melinda Gibson has lived in the area all her life and has the essentials, but she says companionship is more important to her than supplies.

Gibson said, "I don't like the sound of the wind, and that's going to be a  lot of rain so I'm going to my sisters house. She just lives right up the road from me, but I just feel better when I'm with somebody you know."

Experts suggest you buy enough non- perishable flood to last three days.
