(WTVM) - It's a chilly Thursday morning with temperatures in the low to mid 40s. A few overnight clouds are making their way out of the area leaving us with sunshine and afternoon highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. A return to more seasonable temperatures expected through Friday.
As we get into the weekend we'll track a front into the picture bringing late night Saturday showers. These should linger through the overnight hours and move out early Sunday morning. Highs on Saturday will reach the low 70s but drop into the upper 50s for Sunday as colder air moves in behind the boundary.
Going into Thanksgiving week the weather should remain quiet and calm with clouds building in by Wednesday. Temperatures will start in the 30s Monday morning -giving us our first widespread freezing/frost potential. Highs will warm into the low 60s Monday afternoon. Return to the upper 60s by Tuesday and taking us through Black Friday. You could also see a slight rain chance Friday but staying dry for traveling Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day.
