COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Fire crews responded to a fire at the intersection of 27th and Riverside in Columbus.

The fire started around 5:25 p.m. Sunday evening.

Firefighters say a vacant house was discovered to have gone up in flames.

No injuries have been reported and arson crews are on the scene.

Investigators are suspicious as to the cause of the fire and say the house next door burned down a year ago and the house across the street burned down weeks ago.

While investigators are suspicious, they are still investigating to pinpoint the cause of the fire.
