FIRST TO ALERT: A wintry mix possible for some this AM. Impacts? Details here.

(WTVM) - This morning we have clouds and light rain for our eastern AL and north GA counties. There could be some sleet mixed in but no icy road conditions are expected for us as temperatures are too warm. But we're watching things closely. A higher rain chance is anticipated later this morning and through the evening as moisture pushes east through the Valley.

A very low rain chance sticks with us for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but the big weather story will be the warmer weather that moves in tomorrow. Highs return to the low 60s Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon with upper 60s working in for Thursday and Friday.

Another system tracks through by the end of the week bringing another cold blast behind it for the weekend. We dry out for Saturday and Sunday but highs drop back down into the 40s by Sunday.

You can stream us LIVE on the weather app starting at 5 PM ET with the latest on that forecast and make sure you follow Storm Team 9 on Facebook and Twitter.  I'll have the latest on your forecast for the big Alabama / Georgia game as well!
