Man pleads guilty to 2015 homicide by vehicle of Kendrick High student

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus man pleaded guilty to homicide by vehicle in the death of a Kendrick High School student in 2015.

Edward Law arrived in Judge Peters' courtroom Monday morning to plead guilty to other charges related to 17-year-old Romel Dill's death.

Dill was hit as he walked along Steam Mill Road.

Law's attorney says his client could not have seen anyone walking down the street because there were no street lights on the road.

Law's sentencing date has not yet been set.
