GA Lieutenant Governor speaks at Columbus GOP meeting

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Georgia's Lieutenant Governor was the guest speaker at an event in Columbus Tuesday evening.

Hitting the campaign trail early, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle spoke at the monthly meeting of the Muscogee County Republican Party at the DoubleTree Hotel.

Cagle is running for Georgia governor and his campaign is focused on economic growth, transportation, and infrastructure.

"I'm running to make a difference. I have served with two governors and I've had the opportunity to be there to know what it's like to make tough policy decisions," says Cagle.

The election for Georgia's next governor takes place November 6, 2018.
