(WTVM) – The snow is over and we're left with anywhere from 1-3 inches around the Valley. The sun yesterday afternoon helped melt away a lot of the snow and ice on the roads however any snow or ice that didn't melt froze overnight.
There are still icy spots on the roads - especially on bridges, overpasses and shaded areas. Please use caution this morning. We're starting off in the teens with above freezing temperatures expected to return by lunch. Sunshine and highs this afternoon in the 40s will help melt away anything that is left.
Look for 50s on Friday and temperatures near 60 by Saturday. Sunday and Monday will feature an increase in clouds with rain chances returning to the area by Monday of next week. Highs will be in the low 60s.
After the rain moves out, temperatures look to stay in the upper 50s and lower 60s for highs, right around average for this time of year - or a little above in some cases. Lows will be down in the 30s.
