Columbus dog looking for love finds forever home

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - After three years, a Columbus dog has found his forever home.

Henry, a Coonhound mix who was housed at Animal Ark Rescue in Columbus was finally adopted Monday.

Henry was housed at the animal shelter after being rescued from the pound. He's an active pup who loves to play and snuggle. However, it took a while for him to find a permanent home.

Miranda Morrison, the canine enrichment coordinator at Animal Ark decided to set up a Tinder dating profile for Henry. He went viral and appeared all over social media after his Tinder profile was published in Dec. 29.

Henry even appeared on the "Today Show."

In a Facebook post, the Animal Ark Rescue thanks everyone who shared Henry's story.
