Impassable travel advisory continues in Lee Co.

LEE COUNTY, AL (WTVM) – The Lee County EMA says the impassable travel advisory for all of Lee County still continues.

"Don't take for granted that any road will be clear today, just because you traveled on it yesterday without a problem," the Lee Co. EMA said in a Facebook post.

They also say that direct sunlight may have caused melting and freezing that citizens may not be aware of.

"Please have patience and STAY HOME AND STAY WARM when you can," says the EMA.

The following roads in Lee Co. are closed:

Auburn:
• W Farmville Rd between N College St and N Donahue Dr
• N Donahue Dr near Miracle Rd
• Lee Road 72

Opelika
• 2nd Ave bridge from 11th st to 14th st 
• Oak Bowery from Ridgewood to Blackhawk
