COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - It will be a cold night for some inmates in the Muscogee County Jail.
The jail's heating system has shut down in parts of the facility.
The heating issue is limited to one section of the jail and affects 190 inmates. It's being reported that coil in the heating system went out around 5 p.m. Thursday and cannot be repaired until Friday at the earliest.
Muscogee County Jail officials say there is no place to move inmates to, but they have brought in extra blankets for them.
The current heating issue in the jail comes after problems with the heating system were repaired a few weeks ago.
