Columbus police searching for Curry St. murder suspect

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police are searching for a man wanted for murder. 

Jamar Pipkin,23, is wanted for the murder of Jahwon Armstead. On Nov. 28 around 10 p.m., police responded to Midtown Medical Center regarding Armstead being shot. He later died as result of his injuries.

It was reported to the officers that the shooting took place at a residence on Curry Street. 

Pipkin, also known as Jay-Glock, may be hanging out in the area of Bella Cove Apartments on Farr Road and possibly driving a Black BMW, unknown model.

He is described as weighing 140 pounds and  5'6." He is also known to be in the area of  Lafayette Drive.

Pipkin should be considered armed and dangerous.
