COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A pair of students from the St. Luke School in Columbus came home with state titles after competing in their first-ever state wrestling tournament last weekend.

The school says that Hunter Dragnett is the new Georgia Independent School Association State Champion.

Classmate Brooks Lawson took home second place in the same tournament.

Both boys are in their first year of wrestling and that this was also the first year St. Luke had a team at all.

Both boys brought home their state titles under the leadership of Coach David McLeod.
