COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Muscogee County School District has scheduled a meeting to discuss scheduling a make-up day after winter weather caused the district to shut down schools.

The purpose of the meeting is to facilitate a decision from the Muscogee County School Board regarding a revision to the school calendar in the form of a make-up day due to the recent inclement weather.

The board discussion and vote on a recommendation to make up one day will be the only item on the agenda. The meeting will conclude with the vote.

Board members will be voting on Jan. 29 at 5:30 p.m. at the Public Education Center.
