COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A new Chick-fil-A is set to open in Columbus Wednesday.
People who frequent Columbus Park Crossing also known as the Strip Mall will be able to eat at the new restaurant located on the 5500 block of Whittlesey Boulevard.
Chick-fil-A will continue its 14-year tradition of giving away free food for a year to its first 100 guests. Local operator Todd Kalish says he and his team are excited about the grand opening.
"We are extremely excited. We appreciate the community so much for supporting Chick-fil-A- and allowing us to have another store in the area. It gives an option of convenience. Because of their support, we are able to do this and we are extremely excited," says Kalish.
Chick-fil-A's Whittlesey Boulevard location will open Wednesday.
The First 100 Party begins Tuesday at 6 a.m. The event will include games, dancing, and enjoying meals.
