COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Oftentimes, we feature local police departments in our “Feel Good Friday” segment and this week is no exception.

The LaGrange Police Department posted pictures from a mentorship program at Whitesville Road Elementary School earlier this week.

LaGrange police officers and Troup Co. sheriff’s deputies were caught on camera showing young boys how to button their collars and tie a tie so that they could learn how to “dress for success.”

Students in the mentorship program are taught how to make things happen for themselves.
