COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The American Heart Association kicked off its Go Red Day event at St. Francis Hospital. WTVM's anchors and other participants wore red Friday in honor of the event.
Go Red Day is a day that kicks off a campaign to educate people about heart disease affecting women and people across the country.
St. Francis Hospital employees and volunteers wore red and created a giant heart Friday morning at the Butler Pavilion.
