Lee County, AL murder suspect arrested in Jacksonville, FL

LEE COUNTY, AL (WTVM) - A suspect indicted for murder in Lee County has been arrested.

Stanley Lee Davis, 53, of Jacksonville, Florida was arrested Jan. 31 and extradited to Alabama Feb. 5.

Davis was being sought by Lee County authorities after being indicted for the 2016 murder of Sandra Dell Revells in Opelika.

Revells was found unresponsive on the floor of her home on Lee Road by her daughter in February 2016. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Lee County Coroner Bill Harris.

A medical examiner confirmed Revells death to be a homicide.

After a preliminary investigation into her case, Davis was determined to be Revells live-in-boyfriend and a primary suspect.

Davis left the state of Alabama as the case continued to be investigated.

Davis is being held in the Lee County Detention Facility on a $150,000 bond.
