Kicks for Kids 2018

COLUMBIA COUNTY, GA (WFXG) -

The Kicks for Kids program is part of a larger community effort to spread kindness in Columbia County by random acts of kindness.

From now until Feb. 28, the  Columbia County Chamber of Commerce is accepting donations of new or gently used shoes that will go to Columbia County students in grades K-12.

    The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide in Hephzibah. The sheriff's office was called out to the 1400 block of Hehzibah McBean Rd. shortly before 2 p.m. Monday. When they arrived, deputies found two men in the midst of a physical altercation.

    An Aiken County man is in custody after witnesses say he ran over a toddler at a North Augusta apartment complex. According to an incident report from North Augusta Public Safety, officers were called out to Conifer Ct. Saturday night for reports that a child had been hit by a vehicle.
