Man charged in the death of an AL Rep. George Bandy bonds out of jail

The man accused of hitting and killing Alabama Representative George Bandy bonded out of jail.

Michael Brooks, 60, was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide on Feb. 7 after Rep. Bandy was struck on Jan. 5.

Officials say the accident was caused by an improper U-Turn made by Brooks.

George Bandy represented the people of Lee and Russell counties in Alabama and Governor Kay Ivey sent her condolences to the family and is thankful for bandy's time served.
