(WTVM) – Volunteers at a Georgia hospital provided handmade red hats for babies born in February.
Volunteers around Georgia partnered with the American Heart Association as a part of American heart month.
Piedmont Healthcare posted a picture of three-day-old Addilynn on Facebook in the cozy red hat that she received at Piedmont Athens Regional.
"Although it's small, this hat makes a huge difference in helping the Little Hats, Big Hearts campaign raise awareness of congenital heart defects, the most common type of birth defect in the country," the Facebook post stated.
