Columbus flower shop floods with customers on Valentine's Day

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - One flower and gift store in Columbus had a busy Valentine's Day.

When Hazel's Flowers and Gifts opened at 7 a.m. Wednesday, people were already waiting outside. Owner Hazel Thomas says a steady stream of people came in and out all day.

"We have had so many phone calls until we had to say we are out of red roses. We had everything else," says Thomas.

She has sold flowers in Columbus 29 years.
