Big Dog Fleet Feet hosts Valentine's Relay

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Big Dog Fleet Feet hosted its 6th annual Valentine's Relay in Columbus Wednesday.

This year, the specialty running store decided to make it a 5K fun run. It was part of the company's Wednesday Evening Group Run.

Anyone who showed up with a partner was allowed to participate in the relay. For those who didn't have partners, they were paired with one as they showed up.

The event was free of charge and participants received a special treat.

"Just have fun. It's actually a free event, no charge no anything. So, we're just having fun," says Co-owner Reggie Luther.

The distance of the run was about three and a half miles and each couple ran five laps. The purpose of the event was to have fun with couples on Valentine's Day.
