COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A man in Columbus died recently while lending a helping hand.

Anthony Jensen was delivering gas to a stranded customer when he was hit by a car. After a man ran out of gas on Interstate 185 Wednesday, Jensen who was an employee at Pop-A-Lock, responded to the motorist.

Both men were side-swiped while putting in gas.

Now, Jensen’s brother is asking for help in raising funds to help with funeral expenses. His brother says he was a loving fiancé and father of three. The 32-year-old was a best friend to some and was smart and funny, according to those closest to him.
