75th Ranger Regiment hosts K9 Warrior Pawrade in Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The 75th Ranger Regiment K9 Warrior Pawrade took place today at Woodruff Park in Columbus.

This parade was to show support for the sacrifices made by our K9 Warriors.

All proceeds went towards the final funding and completion of the 75th Ranger Regiment K9 Memorial to be unveiled March 13th.

"People support the troops, dogs support their dog troops. We are proud to have all these dogs out here," said Gene Lively, President of 2nd HOOAH GA.

About 150 dogs participated in today's parade.

Each dog received an American flag bandanna to wear.

There was also chance today to adopt a dog from Paws Humane.
