Six arrested in prostitution sting, Columbus Police say

COLUMBUS, GA - Columbus Police confirm through arrest reports that six people have been arrested on prostitution charges after a Special Operations Unit investigation late Saturday, early Sunday morning.

Police say the investigation was part of a prostitution sting where officers have been investigating high-crime areas across the city of Columbus.

In the arrest reports, police did not list a specific area where the arrests occurred.

Police arrested six people on charges related to prostitution: 22-year-old Quanevia Landrum, 23-year-old Zackery Bruner, 24-year-old Tarshiela Toles, 25-year-old Kate Burdeshaw, 37-year-old Danasia Dixon and 40-year-old Tiffany Ball. Ball has also received a charge of possessing marijuana and Burdeshaw received a charge of possessing cocaine with intent to distribute. Landrum was also listed to be in violation of her probation.

All six were booked into the Muscogee County Jail on February 18th. Bruner, Burdeshaw, and Landrum remain in the jail.
