Armed and dangerous man wanted for deadly shooting on Thomas St. in Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police are searching for a murder suspect in connection with the Thomas Street shooting on Feb. 15.

The shooting claimed the life of Darnell Jackson. He was taken to the Midtown Medical Center ER where he passed away.

This investigation has led to a murder warrant for  39-year-old Travis Thomas.

Thomas is described as being 6-feet tall and weighing 180 – 200 pounds.

He also has the following tattoos:

  • MLK on right arm
  • ADDY on right arm
  • BLVD on left arm

Thomas is considered armed and dangerous and drives a grey 2011 Dodge Ram pickup truck with a Georgia tag: RGA4984.
