UPDATE: Person accused of stealing from a handicapped person arrested

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police say they have made an arrest after a handicapped person was reportedly stolen from.

Earlier this week, they released surveillance pictures of a man wanted for reportedly stealing from a handicapped person.

Police say this man, driving a black four-door sedan, backed into the driveway of a home on Wandering Lane last Thursday, Feb. 15.

After checking to see if anyone was home, he reportedly grabbed a brick from his car and threw it through a door at the home to get in.

The suspect allegedly stole an Xbox that belonged to the handicapped person living there and left.

The department announced last night that, thanks to a tip from an anonymous citizen, officers were able to identify this man and make an arrest.
