No foul play suspected in death of man found in Waverly Hall pond

WAVERLY, AL (WTVM) - No foul play is suspected in the death of a Waverly Hall man who was found dead in a car that was submerged in a pond.

Cameron Roney, 20, was found dead inside of a car after it was removed from a pond in the Oak Mountain Estates neighborhood Feb. 20.

GBI officials say the preliminary autopsy is done and based on the information they have, no foul play is suspected at this time.

Results are preliminary and additional testing such as toxicology and testing of the car for mechanical issues are still pending.
