London X City Reviews Best Music Of 2018

March 19, 2018 – – London X City has announced the release of their latest report on the best music of 2018. They have looked at the 10 hottest albums of 2018 so far, while at the same time reviewing some new, up and coming artists.

Chloe, main reporter for London X City, says: “The Brit Awards have just been held and the standard and quality of music displayed there were absolutely fantastic. There are some spectacular up and coming artists that we should all be looking forward to, and the albums produced in 2018 so far are out of this world. Apparently, 2018 is going to be a year of great music.”

The 10 key albums that London X City felt should be included on their top 10 list are Ezra Furman – Transangelic Exodus, Tune-Yards – I Can Feel You Creep Into My Private Life, Car Seat Headrest – Twin Fantasy, Justin Timberlake – Man of the Woods, Kanye West – Turbo Grafx 16, Lucy Dacus – Historian, Jeff Rosenstock – POST, Shame – Songs of Praise, No Age – Snares Like a Haircut, and Shopping – The Official Body. Meanwhile, people can find more stories here about the different artists and what make their performances so great.

Many of the top 10 albums of 2018 have been released by up and coming artists. But London X City has also looked at others, including the main Brit Awards winners, and those who missed out. Winners included Rag ‘n Bone Man, Stormzy, the Gorillaz, Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, Jorja Smith, Ed Sheeran, and Kendrick Lamar. Chloe adds: “These are some of the best when it comes to contemporary British artists. International awards were also good, but we truly want to focus on the best of the British artists and we’re impressed.”

Dua Lipa in particular is a new up and coming artist who won Best British Breakthrough Act and Best British Female Solo Artist. She first became active in 2015 and seems to finally have truly broken through as an independent artist in her own right. Chloe says: “We love Dua Lipa and can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.” More details about these are available on the online magazine website at
