AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - A man from Auburn has been arrested for burglary.
Favion Sanchez Morse, 26, is charged with fourth-degree theft of property.
Auburn police responded to an apartment on Shug Jordan Parkway Saturday, April 14 in reference to a possible burglary call. Officers arrived at the apartment and determined that Morse had unlawfully entered the residence through a bedroom window.
According to police, he stole a wallet containing an undisclosed amount of cash and fled. Police later received the wallet.
After an investigation into the incident, Morse was identified as the suspect and warrants were obtained for his arrest. Morse was taken into custody by an Auburn police officer following a traffic stop.
He was transported to the Lee County Jail where is currently being held on a $16,000 bond.
