Despite a mild and muggy start across the Valley, a change is on the way for the remainder of the work week as a dry and weak cold front sweeps through the Southeast. Though the front brings us no rain, it will bring another dose of cooler air for Friday and Saturday mornings, with lows dropping to the mid to upper 40s.
Passing clouds Thursday morning give way to mostly sunny skies in the afternoon, with sunshine sticking around through the early part of the weekend.Afternoon highs run a touch below average, in the lower to mid 70s.
Changes arrive later in the weekend as a disturbance sets its sights on Deep South late Sunday. Off-and-on rain lingers Sunday night into early next week, before another round of quiet spring weather returns.
