FIRST TO ALERT: Early weekend sunshine gives way to rain late Sunday. Details here.

Friday morning kicked off to a chilly start, and we'll see another cool morning stick around for Saturday. Despite the brisk conditions in the AM, Friday afternoon holds plentiful sunshine with highs in the low 70s, and staying breezy.

By Saturday, the afternoon warms up a touch with a few more clouds moving in. Sunday looks on the cloudy side with our next rainmaker bringing showers, particularly later in the day. Right now, showers and a few rumbles of thunder are likely, with the severe weather threat looking nonexistent. The heaviest rain looks to move in Sunday overnight and linger into Monday morning.

Though next week won't be a washout, through Thursday the pattern looks unsettled with a slight chance of a few showers. Heading into next weekend, weather looks quieter and more pleasant.
