(WTVM) - Thousands across the Chattahoochee Valley gathered for the fifth annual Revival on the River presented by the Take the City initiative.
Its a night of revival, unity, and praise.
"Tonight is all about unity." says the director of Eminent Worship, Ian Allen. " It's about bringing people from across different states, different churches and a bunch of different people together. It really just birthed out of an idea of unity to bring our community together under one banner and one event. Its the fifth one, so we are really excited about it."
Allen says its the community that makes the night so special.
"Really just seeing our community come together, it's so cool to be a part of little things and little initiatives in our city," says Allen. "But to see groups work together and work hard to see what is happening in our community is special."
The night featured a lineup of entertainment and gospel music along with free Chick-fil-A for the first thousand attendees.
