Compass Bank on Toomer's Corner in Auburn demolished for reconstruction

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - The Compass Bank building on Toomer's Corner in Auburn is being torn down and reconstructed.

This historic building on South College Street is being redeveloped to bring back Compass Bank for the first two floors and new apartments above the bank.

Developers say there will also be a rooftop area to bring more life during game days and the new project will take up 18,000 square feet right across the street from Toomer's Drugs.
