The lingering disturbance off to our northeast helps bring some clouds mixed in with the sunshine Tuesday, and helps account for an isolated shower or two developing into the afternoon. A few showers could linger into the early evening, but once we lose the heating of day, Tuesday evening looks quiet.
Mainly dry and a little warmer for Wednesday before our next rainmaker heads to the Valley Thursday afternoon. Scattered shower coverage could linger into early Friday morning before the weekend ushers in a welcome round of abundant sunshine.
Over the weekend, a warming trend takes hold that looks stick around for next week as a ridge of high pressure builds in over the Southeast. Though our high temperatures this week look seasonable or just slightly below average, next week runs much warmer, with highs in the low 80s on tap.
