COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Georgia Republican running for governor made a pit stop in Columbus Tuesday.
Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle was in town as part of his "Cagle Country Bus Tour." He stopped by Carrolton and LaGrange Tuesday morning before arriving at the Columbus Government Center.
Cagle discussed issues such as education, poverty, and government efficiency.
"Well for me it really isn't about anyone else who's running for governor. I'm running to make a difference and the difference is to add on to the things we have been able to do," says Cagle.
It's his plan to meet voters in 40 communities across the state.
