FORT BENNING, GA (WTVM) - Tank crews from across the Army, Marine Corps, and even overseas will be in Fort Benning next week for the Sullivan Cup competition.
The Sullivan Cup is an international competition designed to determine who is the best tank crew hosted by the Maneuver Center of Excellence.
Sixty competitors divided into fifteen teams are set to compete, with two of those teams comprised of soldiers from Kuwait and Australia.
The competition kicks off with their Operation Thunderbolt, their opening ceremonies, Monday, Apr. 30 at 4:00 p.m. and ends with a grand finale called Operation Thunderbolt Shock on May 4.
The events will take place at Harmony Church on Fort Benning.
