Rain is on its way to the Chattahoochee Valley as wet weather spreads across the Southeast Thursday morning. East Alabama could see rain as early as late morning before coverage expands into the rest of our area through the afternoon. Though the severe threat is very low, a few stronger storms embedded within the rain are possible through the early evening.
Rain moves out after dinnertime, though some clouds will linger for Friday. Overall though, the week wraps up on a dry note with a beautiful weekend in store. Saturday into Monday, mornings look to run a little cooler, with lows falling to the mid to upper 40s.
But temperatures trend warmer next week with low to mid 80s on board. The weather remains mostly sunny and tranquil until another round of showers and storms arrives closer to next weekend.
